Jordynn and Braden Engagement Session at the Guelph Lake Dam

Recently, I had the pleasure of doing Jordynn and Braden’s engagement shoot at the Guelph Lake Dam!

These two were SO. MUCH. FUN!

I was so excited when Jordynn asked if I was available to shoot their wedding day for them, and I love it when my couples are on board for engagement photos too, as it is a great time for us to get to know each other even better! I am so glad grateful that they trusted my vision for the shoot, even if it took them a bit to warm up to it! Jordynn also seemed to have the similar idea in her head as I did regarding a beach and playful water photos, so we made that happen for sure!

Also, funny story – first thing that Jordynn noticed when we started was that our engagement ring is the EXACT SAME. Like, a lot of brides will say to me – wow, our rings are like the same or so similar! But no, seriously – they are the EXACT SAME ring. First time that has ever happened. Both from Peoples, SO cool. She took a good look at my wedding band too because it did not come as a set, and so neither has hers!

These two were my perfect client – they enjoyed music playing on a blue tooth speaker in my purse throughout the shoot, as I told them when we started it would lighten up the mood, and loosen up the joints! haha! They went along with all my adventurous and playful posing, silly games, and of course some attempts at more intimate or posed moments, that usually turned into more laughs anyways and made for some really great photos!

I am so happy with how they turned out! I think this session really captures their relationship well, and their personalities too! The Guelph Lake Dam did not disappoint either – I am really loving this place lately!

I am so blessed to be able to make and capture memories with such adorable, sweet couples like them, and I can’t wait for their wedding next summer, it is going to be beautiful!

Enjoy some of my favourites!
